1. Hi how do I set up the cfw to work with funny mamba auto loader. I keep getting error message IPDS is set to Dex change to CEX to sign in to psn. Can’t get it to work.

6. Sulla mia ps3 è montato il cfw 4.55 di rogero posso installare questo spoof per utilizzare i giochi che richiedono firmware 4.60 oppure non è compatibile, e come potrei fare per passare dal mio attuale firmware a quello richiesto

8. Ho un problema ho ps3ita 4.50 dex e volevo regolare la velocita delle ventole a +50 con cfw setup ma non mi fa attivare ne il system manager ne mi fa regolare la velocita..Mi potete aiutare?

   • Nel cfw 4.50 (non cobra) non è presente il system manager.. Passa al 4.55 se lo vuoi..

     • Ah ok grazie mille per avermi risposto, ma quindi non posso regolare la velocita delle ventole usando cfw setup?

    Estoy un poco desesperado porque hoy a la mañana pude finalmente hacer puente, ProDG con mi PS3 !
    la conexion por cable ethernet ect es mas hasta pude explorar el disco interno con sus archivos ect todo funcionan perfecto y llegue hacer RTM con una Tools de black ops 2 smile smile smile smile todo funcionan al 100%
    hasta que apague todo y para mi suerte cuando intente de vuelta ya no pude con nada lol y estoy aqui viendo si alguien me puede dar un cable les dejo el log del ProDG

    so if i want to copy my own index.dat, version.txt and vsh.self i just have to put those 3 files inside CFWITASET\spoof and rebuild the pkg?

    1) What is stage2.bin?
    2) Have i to rename vsh.self into vsh.self.455D?

    • No..
      CFW Setup checks the size of vsh and if this does not match, restore the original vsh…
      It does the same with the index.dat..

      You have to change the size of these 2 files in the source of CFW Setup and rebuild it..

      look line 64/65:

      #define VSH_455D_SIZE 0x2FF210ULL
      #define INDEX_SIZE 0x2D0ULL

    I’ve a question, i’m on a 4.55 DEX CFW, i’d like to use your spoofer to spoof to 4.60 DEX, the problem is that unpacking your spoofer i noticed the files are for CEX console.
    Do you have the files for 4.55 DEX to 4.60 DEX?

    P.S. for Cyber:
    Cyber probably you have a bad setup. on DEX all games but minis and PSP remaster works, so check your configuration.
    Many games require these 2 options to be set:
    Boot Mode :Release mode
    Release check mode: Development mode

      Only the index.dat and version.txt were taken from ofw 4.60 CEX, that because we have not the OFW 4.60 DEX (for now)..

      Acess to PSN works anyway..

    • Sorry to tell you i have the best setup ;p, the problem is you cannot debug if you set Boot Mode to Release mode, the debugger simply will not start, you can try it and see if i’m wrong ;)

Thank you Rancid for your good work, i really love your CFW and i use it from the first moment it was released.. but i keep going to Rebug 4.46.1 because of one thing, it’s the ability to spoof your console to retail while it’s a debug station, because there’s alot of games wont work on DEX it gives a black screen, like uncharted 2 RE6 MGS Ground Zero, and Destiny BETA for the moment, so can you please make this option available on your CFW it’ll will be a the BEST CFW OF ALL TIMES!!

    ho un pkg(re darkside chron hd) da 6,4 gb ,console ps3 slim 320 gb con firmware 4.50 dex e ps3 ita manager
    ho diviso i file con open split ma non so come unirli su ps3 e installare il gioco
    grazie anticipatatmente a chiunque possa aiutarmi

21. Mine says Install Spoof 4.50 and doesn’t say Install Spoof 4.60 can it be possible?

    • Oh yes.. only now i have seen, it is only a text error (don’t worry), that 4.50 should be 4.60..

22. Ciao. Quando dice di cambiare cID, avendo quello predefinito bannato, lho sostituito con uno valido. Quando cerco di creare un nuovo profilo psn, dopo aver seguito la procedura mi da quest’errore 80710104….cosa posso fare? grazie di cuore :)

    • Probabilmente non hai settato nelle opzioni di debug “Np Enviroment” su np

      If you want the spoof only install CFW Setup v4, run it and select the option “Install Spoof 4.60”.

      This does not problem with ccapi..

      CFW Setup is not incompatible with ccapi, is the system manager that not work with it..
